My name is Cindy Schnack, my mothers maiden name is Virginia Jester, her
mother is Pearl Elizabeth Crawford. Pearl was born on the 30th day of
September 1907 in the city of Salt Lake in Utah. She Had a Brother Alan (Im
not sure of the spelling) and a sister Hellen. Pearl's mothers name is Rose
Cecelia Wilgur and her fathers name is Laurence (or Lawrence Im not sure)
Moroni Crawford. Laurance had two brothers that I am sure of, Edward Nephi
Crawford and Robert Lehi Crawford. He may also have had a sister named
Maude Crawford who married a man with the surname Kalbflich, and she had a
son named Willard, and they lived in SF Ca. area. Grandmother Pearl is 90
and living in Boise Idaho. She tells me she spent much of her childhood in
Eli and McGill, Nevada, where her father Laurence and his brothers worked
in the silver mines and even had some claims of their own. She cannot
recall the names of her cousins, but she said her grandfather, Laurence'
father was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints,
he may have even been a Bishop. Alan, Pearls Brother died somewhere in
Oakland or SanFrancisco sometime around 1952. Alan Had some children but my
grandmother and my mother can't remember their names. Alan worked for a
furniture company and thats all I know about him. Grandmothers sister Helen
Victoria, also known as Viki married a man with the surname Tierney, they
think his first name was Robert but there is no certainty of that. Anyway,
she had two sons Terry, and Bobby, then was divorced and remarried shortly
thereafter. My grandmother never saw her after that. This may get confusing
but I need to back up for a moment. Pearls mother Rose Cecelia (Wilgur)
Crawford died in either Van Nuys Cal. or the neighboring city of North
Hollywood about 1945-49. Mom thinks Laurence died about 1952. My Grandma
Pearl Elizabeth Crawford married Grandfather Vern David Jester in Oakland
Ca. about 1926. Pearl gave birth to my mother Virginia Lee Jester on the
1st day of January 1927. They also had a son Vern David Jr. Virginia
married Jack Knemyer and had a daughter Carole Ann Knemyer on Nov.11th 1947
who died on april 9 1987 in Lodi Calif. She later divorced and married my
father Lloyd Dale Walker. The following is a list of children born to that
union.
Lloyd Jr. born Nov.25, 1952 Died March 24, 1996 no marriages
Barbara Jean Walker born Aug.2nd 1954 with a hole in her heart, lived with
Eisenmengers desease for the term of her life which ended on October 25th
1997. She married and divorced Richard Breito, she had no children.
Kenneth David Walker, born March 22, 1956 died Dec.22, 1957.
Cindy Lee Walker (myself) born Jan.17th 1958. Married Kirk William Schnack
in Reno N.V. in 1985 We have 3 Children William James 5/14/85 and twins
Shawn Baxter, and Tracy Lynn 1/27/91.
Brian David Walker born June 12th 1960. Married Sandy? in Reno NV 1985 and
had Scott alan Walker 1985.
Tina Marie Walker, born March 1 1970 not yet married but looking forward to
getting married.
I am trying to locate records, birth, death, marriage for the following
Crawfords.
Rose Cecelia Crawford,
Laurence Moroni Crawford
Alan Crawford
Helen Crawford
also any information leading to Laurences Father and mother.
