My thanks to the many, many people who were kind enough to respond to my
query concerning Crawford heart problems. I appreciated the expressions of
sympathy and no longer feel alone knowing how many of you faced this same
problem with your own loved ones. I was please to read how many Crawfords,
stricken by this disease, went on to lead full and active lives after both
medical attention and changes in life style. My grandfather, my uncle and
my father all died in their forties and with my two brothers now entering
this decade of their lives it is a comfort to know there are helpful
changes that can be made that DO make a difference.
