Sharon - I told you we had an Esther Crawford in the family but I was very
wrong about the dates. Our Esther Crawford was born in about 1763 and
married to Walter Whitsett in 1781 probably in Perryopolis, Fayette County,
PA. According to court records of a Deed from Sale of Property she was a
niece of Colonel William Crawford (probably Valentines family).
