Obituary: ABINGTON -- William J. "Red" Crawford of Abington died Saturday.
Mr. Crawford was an employee of Boston Edison.
He was past president of the South Shore Eagles Hockey.
Mr. Crawford was a veteran serving in the Vietnam War.
He was formerly of Wrentham.
Mr. Crawford is survived by his wife, Mary (Pero) Crawford; a son, Michael
Crawford of Abington; two daughters, Susan Crawford and Carolyn Crawford,
both of Abington; his father, James Crawford of Quincy; a brother James P.
Crawford of Nashua N.H.; two sisters, Carol Gomes of Attleboro and Nancy
Ferland of Plainville.
He was also the son of the late Winifred (Outram) Crawford.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thursday at St.
Bridget's Church. Burial will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery in
Bourne.
Visiting is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760
Washington St., Whitman.
Donations may be made to the South Shore Eagles Hockey.
