To Robin, Bronwyn and other listers...
When I was just a little tacker my grandmother, who was 'right into' family history long before it became trendy, sat me on her knee and told me...
"Always remember, the Crawford's fought at Falkirk."
I had absolutely no idea whatsoever what this deep and meaningful phrase meant right up until I saw 'Braveheart" the movie, and this was what actually inspired me to start my research into my Crawford line. I can now presume that she knew 'Something Significant' and the information was undoubtably destroyed by her vengeaful daughters in law in the 1960's when she passed away. I am currently researching my Crawford line out of Glasgow and now into Baroney in the late 1700's I will keep you posted on results.

Glen Crawford.
