That is quite right, but that is why most of us are doing this Family Tree
stuff. The name Crawford has been around a long time and I am quite sure that
Hundreds of thousands of people named Crawford are direct descendants of the
Twelve major Crawford Lines and even people who came from the area and
adopted the name will show some common DNA markers that will be familia in
nature.
