John probably came to the U.S. in the late 1700's, probably out of Northern
Ireland. The family is said to have originally come from Scotland. He is
said to have come through Westmorland County, PA before ending in Armstrong
County. He married Sarah ___. They had a large family in Armstrong County.

Does this John fit into any of the immigration patterns or groups that have
been discussed on this list?
