Gail,

Does that "Crawford Family History" book list names and dates for the Craufords mentioned? Where did you purchase it? Does it mention about when CRAUFORD's changed their spelling to CRAWFORD's?

I have not been able to find info regarding AARON CRAWFORD, my immigrant from Ireland, husband to MARY GIBSON, father of THOMAS CRAWFORD. So I am thinking his last name was spelled differently. Does anyone have any insight about the name changes and why it was done. Did it have anything to with coming to America or leaving their home towns?
