Hi Shirley,
Sounds intriguing! My mother was a Crawford, and I have traced our
ancestors back to Henry Crawford, b Feb 23, 1783 in Long Island, NY. He
came to Ontario, Canada with his wife Hannah(?) and settled near
Toronto. Can you find any connection? If so I'd be interested in your
trophy.
