Thank you so much for you very professional and informed explanation of the LDS and the ownership of ones family records, and the sale of such information.

I have found all of your information to be absolutely correct. As I said in my original post, it is very assumptive of the LDS to use this information for profit, or in any other way without the written consent of members of the descending family. To baptise the dead without anyone being informed, not to memtion having permission, is even more assumptive !!

To take over the information on ones family, and invoke anothers religious beliefs and practices, is equivalent to the taking over of ones country, in a symbolic manner. This flies in the face of what I belive our country stands for. Again, I think we should all think about this very seriously. We do not know the future.
