I have Vance Crawford and Maud Crawford living with a Sarah Tracey in the 1880 Census of Powell County Kentucky. Enumeration District #106 Supervisor District # 5.
Does anyone know what happened to Vance and Maud Crawfords parents or have their names??
Someone told me a story that Vance's father was a school superintindant and carried sums of money. His horse came home wet one day without him and they figure he was either robbed or fell in the creek and drowned.
Any Clues??
