If anyone has any information on George Harris Crawford please let me
know.I'm from the line of Crawfords that were in the Hancock Co.,Ga. area in
the 1800's and 1900's.George Harris was born on Dec.4,1899 and died on
Oct.12,1971.His last residence was in Dade Co.,Miami,Florida.
I've heard that his middle name (Harris) he gave himself when he went in the
Army because they require a middle initial or name.His body was moved by Ida
Crawford Windsor(my aunt who has since passed away) to city cemetery in
Greensboro,Ga.in mid to late 70's.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
