In information given to me, (I have no research) I have the following:
This is from a family in Butler Co., PA. I assume this John may be your
Johnston. The weakness of that theory, of course, is that brothers and
sisters often named their children exactly the same names their siblings
had used for their children. None the less, there is a fair overlap in
information. As you straighten this out, please keep us all posted as to
the progress.
