I wonder if David Crawford, Jr. on page 138 is same David Crawford who
received 1200 acre patent on both sides of Stocks Creek in Amelia County,
Virginia. David later sold this patent in two sales.
The first sale occurred 29 Jul 1742 (money changed hands) to James Porters.
The land was a 200 acre plot sold for 20 pounds. (Amelia County Deed Book 1
page 410).
The second sale occurred 22 Jun 1751 to Hezekiah Ford. The land was the
remaining 1000 acres and was sold for 12 pounds 10 shillings. (Amelia
County Deed Book 4 page 105).
David Crawford patent is located northeast of John Crawford's 3,146 acre and
400 acre patent. David Crawford's patent appears to be located on Reed Rock
Road in Amelia County, Va.
