You might want to check early Thomas County probate records.
A Robert Crawford, old enough to have been the father of William and Ezekial, was living near them in 1840 Thomas County. Just a possibility, but if Robert left any property, you might find a will or an estate settlement which names your Ezekiel. If not, you might check all the Crawford deed and probate records to try to find a father-son relationship between Ezekiel and any other Crawford who was also in the area at the time.
Good luck.
Linda

Subject: [CRAWFORD] Ezekiel Crawford
Can anyone help me with Ezekiel Crawford - lived in Berrien,Thomas and Colquitt County, Ga. I know he was married to Martha Ellen Holland at one time. He had a brother, William Byrd Crawford, who was married to Jane Evans. They lived around Adele, Ga. I have no information as to their parents and I need that. Ezekiel has been my "brick wall" for years until I located him with my gggrandfather, John Elbert Crawford. Any help is appreciated.
