Hi List,

Following is some information on Moniacs that I have gathered from various sources, publications, books, census, etc. There are some contradicting data that I have not had the time (or not the resources) to resolve. Hope this will start some discussion on this family and with everyone's help maybe we can add to the genealogy and history of this historic family of the SE AL Creeks. And any of other associated families-I am particularly interested in the Rolins.

Several people asked me in the last day or so about the Moniacs, hope this helps, if not let me know.

- Died in 1836 in MS while being forced to remove to OK
- owned an inn along the old federal road, in Montgomery county, near Pintlala
He married Elizabeth Weatherford, daughter of Charles Weatherford & Sehoyi III Windclan, Circa 1800. Born Circa 1784.

She married William Weatherford, son of Charles Weatherford & Sehoyi III Windclan, 1801. Born Circa 1780. Died 9 Mar 1824. Buried in Baldwin Co., Al. Lamochattee (Red Eagle). Chief of the Creeks. Lead Red Sticks in the Creek War of 1813-1814.
