Circuit Rider my William Ranson Creel, born 1849 in Jones County, Miss, and moved to Pineville, Harrison County,
Mississippi about 1860, or just after the Civil War. He married in 1875 and became a Baptist Preacher and Circuit Rider,
he went all over south Mississippi spreading the Gospel. He even preached at Dauphin Island, Alabama, where daughter
Lillie and her Husband Joseph Warren Sprinkle moved in 1914. Also I have a Newspaper article were
he and son-in-law Sprinkle and grandchildren Clarence, George and Clyde went over by boat to the mainland at Bayou La
Batre and Grandpa Creel preached at First Baptist Church there in 1921.

Also his cousin from Forrest County, MS, Jasper Creel, born 1863 was a traveling medicine man. He would came to Bayou La
Batre then boat over to Dauphin Island to sell his medicine, then go to Theodore, AL and sell the Creels there his known
cousins my Great Uncle Clyde who just died last October at age 95 told me he went with Uncle Jasper as he called him,
but really older cousin of Grandma Lillie Creel Sprinkle.

Thought I'd share some of those old memories.

David Sprinkle
