M. L. Creel married Katie E. Pankey 5-25-1881

Pat,

Wife of Martin Luther Creel, 5-16-1855 IL to 5-31-1931 Richardson Co.,
NE. She died 10-18-1886 in Jackson Co. after giving birth to 2 children -
Lethea Elizabeth c1883 and Zwingle Mingo Creel, 8-24-1885. NFR on Lethea;
Zwingle died in St. Louis, MO, July 1968. Katie was a daughter of Martin
Chisholm Pankey from NC.

Martin was a Carpenter and moved back and forth through several states,
including IL, KS, and even OK. His second wife was Marcia Jane Alvey,
7-22-1870 to 4-20-1943. Their children were -

Nellie Alverta, Wallace Newton, Mary C., Ella Durham, Henry Durham, Mitchell
Roland, Velma Myrtle and Thelma Morine. Thelma was the last to pass away,
2-18-2003, North Vernon, IN.

These Creels are in the Charles Creel-Sarah Stapp line from Orange Co.,
VA, which has been shown by recent Y-DNA results to be related to my line
from Richmond Co., VA.
