Edward Muckenfuss - (Charleston Post & Courier SC )
MUCKENFUSS, Edward Edward Eddit Muckenfuss, Sr., 91, of Ridgeville,
SC, widower of Bertha Muckenfuss, died Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at St.
George Health Care Center after a long illness. Funeral services will be
held at Parks Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday afternoon December 28, 2006 at
one o'clock. Burial will be in Summerville Cemetery. Friends may call this
Wednesday evening from six until eight o'clock at Parks Funeral Home. Mr.
Muckenfuss was born December 14, 1915 in Dorchester County, a son of the
late Erwin Muckenfuss and the late Estelle Pratt Muckenfuss. He was a
retired house painter and a member of Givhans Penecostal Church. Survivors
include two sons, Edward Muckenfuss, Jr., and wife Elvina of Summerville
and Johnnie Muckenfuss of VA; three step-daughters, Cinda Ulmer and
husband George of Cope, SC, Rosemary Bonilla and husband Oscar of Belton,
TX, Toni S. Infinger and husband Victor of St. George, SC; five
grandchildren, thirteen step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren,
twenty-five step-great-grandchildren, eleven great-great-grandchildren,
two step-great-great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lillie Mae Broad
and Gertie Creel both of Ridgeville, SC. He was predeceased by his wife,
one daughter, Lillie Ruth Davidson and one great-great-grandchild.

HAKANSON Robert Leo "Bobby" Hakanson - Funeral services were held
Monday, December 18, 2006 in the chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home with
Rev. Art Burroughs officiating. The Rose Croix service was rendered by
Mobile Scottish Rite. Serving as pallbearers were Johnny Smith, Wayne
Sirmon, J.C. Creel, Butch McKeithen, Robert Bolton, and Leo Scarborough.
Military honors were rendered by the V.F.W. Post 49 Honor Guard. Interment

Hortense Goggans Mitchell
MITCHELL, HORTENSE GOGGANS, age 89, formerly of Bexar,
Alabama, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2006. Internment at the
Goggans Cemetery, Bexar Alabama. She was born Monday, December 3, 1917,
one of 9 children of Genera and Cliffton Goggans. She was preceded to
Heaven by her husband Webster Andrew Mitchell ,Hamilton Alabama, sisters
Lenore Britnell, Birmingham, Ala and Eleanor Peeler of Florence, Ala.
brothers Kenneth Goggans, Bexar Ala - Cliffton Goggans, Birmingham, Ala.
Mrs. Mitchell's survivors are son, Charles Mitchell (wife Carolyn)
Houston, Texas, daughter Kay Pedrett, (husband Robert) and grandson Jacob
Pedrett of Sugar Land, Texas, sisters, Mary Annis Cammack, Glovon Poole,
Willodean Creel of Birmingham, Alabama. and brother Henry Goggans of Tampa
Florida. Mrs. Mitchell, a long time resident of Fairfield, Alabama, lived
the last 6 years in Sugar Land, Texas having moved from Vestavia Hills,
Alabama, where she was a member of the Vestavia Hills United Methodist
Church. She retired from the Alabama Highway Department after 15 years of
dedicated service. The family has requested, instead of flowers, that
donations be sent to: Older Adult Day Care - 4616 Terrace (R) -
Birmingham, Alabama 35208.

WEBB, JOHN T. "TOMMY", age 57, of Valdosta, GA passed away on
December 20, 2006. Born and Raised in Birmingham, AL. Member of
International Brotherhood of Teamsters for 41 years. Preceded in death by
his parents, George S. and Ruth Webb. Survived by his loving wife of 31
years, Judy Webb; son, Joseph Edward "Eddie" Webb (Brooke) of Valdosta,
GA; brother, George S. Webb II of Gardendale, AL; grandchildren, Joseph
Taylor Webb of Valdosta, GA; niece, Kristi Creel and her son, Ethan of
Gardendale, AL. Services will be Saturday, December 23, 2006 at 2:00 p.m.
at Jefferson Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the
services on Saturday. Burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Robert
Kitchen officiating. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing. Published in
