Good day, Pat
I saw a posting of yours from 2006 regarding Ambrose Netherland's
obituary.He was my Uncle Ambrose - brother to my dad, Jack Netherland.
Was wondering if you are possibly his grandchild? ? or what our connection
could be.

Raymond Ambrose Netherland, 85, of Regency Court, Campbellsville, died
Friday, April 9, 1999, in Campbellsville, due to an illness. Son of the late
Fulton Netherland and Cordie Newton Netherland, he was born in Taylor
County, Ky., on Aug. 15, 1913, and was a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual
Help Catholic Church. Netherland was a retired rural mail carrier and
farmer. He was married to Pauline Pike on Oct. 2, 1941, who preceded him in
death on Aug. 16, 1989. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in
the United States Army and was awarded a Purple Heart. Survivors include
four daughters and one son, Wanda Gaines of Horse Cave, Ky., Dena Creel of
Boulder, Colo., Paula Bost of Creedmoore, N.C., Ray Netherland of Bowling
Green, and Jill Caulk of Campbellsville;

12 grandchildren, Doug Gaines of Cave City, Gary Gaines of Henderson, Tenn.,
Jaine Branstetter of Lynn Haven, Fla., Pat Creel and Joey Creel of Boulder,
Colo.,

Mark Bost of Fayetteville, N.C., Meg Bost and Damon Bost of Creedmoore,
N.C., Shanae Netherland of Elizabethtown, Ben Netherland, Rayna Netherland
and Addie Caulk, all of Campbellsville; seven great-grandchildren, Emily
Gaines and Ryan Gaines of Cave City, Steven Branstetter and Stuart
Branstetter of Lynn Haven, Fla., Morgan Bost and Jacob Bost of Fayetteville,
N.C., and Shelby Netherland of Campbellsville; one sister, Lena Mae Bowles
of Campbellsville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by one grandson, Steve Creel in 1983; four
brothers and two sisters, James Netherland, Robert Netherland, Edwin
Netherland, Jack Netherland, Barbara Ellen Netherland and Kathleen
Netherland.
