Gayle,
I'll pay the extra charge any day of the week to get someone else to
pump my gas. And mowing yards! Those are two things I still believe are
men's jobs. I remember the time I ran out of gas. Since I worked way out
in the country, I had to keep tabs on the gas gauge to be sure I didn't run
low where there were no service stations nearby. I had just turned off the
highway one morning, entering the long drive to the office bldg. Suddenly,
car went dead, steering wheel locked, car wouldn't start. I walked to
office, called a friend and asked if he would come out at noon and check my
car. The first question he asked was "Could you have run out of gas?"
Was my face red! One of the maintenance men carried a 3-gallon can of
gas out to my car, poured it in, and car started right up. (He was a
grinnin' all the way!) I vowed I'd never let that happen again.

This is too cute!!!!! Sounds like me though when it comes to passing
gas stations. I absolutely hate to pump gas. I'll drive my car till I
get scared it won't make it to the next gas station. One of these days,
it will teach me a lesson.....
