Subject: [CRF] RE: 21-gun salute

I traveled to TN to a friend's funeral on Wednesday. He died of a brain
aneurysm. As a veteran of WW2, he had landed at Cherburg, France, as well as
other battlegrounds. At the burial site, Taps was played and there was a
21-gun salute, a tribute to honor him.
Our old soldiers are dying at a rate of 1,000 per day. How long will it
be before there are none left? And soon, when we talk about Taps and a
21-gun salute, our gr' children will ask, "What's that?"
Sad, but True!..........pat
