Here is an interesting article on the Court Martial of Colonel Thomas
Crawley of the Inniskillings. Although this takes place a few years after
the Crimean War -in India. I thought it might be appropriate for the
lists, considering the fact that some persons involved may have been
veterans of the war and it certainly gives a good account of the petty
nature of the military command structure of that day.
