hi linda,
i had the same thing happen with my great-great-great
grandmother jelena kauzlarich, where both fiume and
fuzine were mentioned by family members.
she and her husband lived in mrkopalj, but i couldn't
find a connection to any kauzlarichs there-she wasn't
listed in the birth records and there was no marriage
record for her and her husband there.
so i got the records for fuzine, since it was a closer
town. there were a ton of kauzlarichs! i found her
birth record and her marriage record!
my gues is that the kauzlarichs from fuzine and
mrkopalj are probably related somewhere back in time
and that's why she and her husband ended up there.
