Just one clarification regarding cases and their usage:

It is correct to say :=20

Tihomitova kuca - Tihomir's house

instead of:

kuca od Tihomira - the house of Tihomir

But!!!!!

It is correct to say:

Grob Tihomira (ex. Kovaca) - Tihomir's grave

or

Krstni list Tihomira Kovaca - Tihomir's birth certificate


So, if one does not understand the meaning of the whole sentence it could b=
e wrongly concluded that the reference is made to male (Tihomir) instead to=
female (Tihomira). or vice versa.

Thwe same is with manu other male and female names of the same origin:

Branko , Branka
Branislav , Branislava
Tomislav, Tomislava
Fran , Frana
Vjedran, Vjedrana
