Hi all,

We should be very cautious if we decide to deal with the so-called Croatian Heraldry Office. I have sent them requests asking who they are and for references.... and all they sent me was a reply saying that they would compile info in a "leather bound" book regarding one of my family names for over $1,000 US!

We all know who the reputable professional genealogists are in Croatia.... Sanja Frigan-Cihua, Miro Caic, Vekaric, etc.. as they are very open about whom they are and whom they have done research for. On the other hand Croatian Heraldry Office will give us Heraldic information about a name for a very high cost, which in the end my have nothing to do with our immediate family. In the US we have all seen those kiosk based heraldic companies set up in US Malls... they come and go!

So again I will ask who are you... Croatian Heraldry Office... who are the principals of your company... and what references can you give us? If you are reputable you will respond with names and references!
