Thanks, Alice and Max, for responding to my hunt for George Crocker.

Max asked what part of the world is my wife's Crocker (George) from?

With my relaying all the information I've seen shared here to my wife,
she has begun to be a bit interested in her own family. At this time we
know that my wife's G-father was born in Peotone, Illinois (Will County)
in 1904. Oral family info says he was of English descent (now no
surprise to me) and lived in Wilton Center, Illinois. So far I have not
found Wilton Center, so it may no longer exist. My wife' mother thinks
our George may have been born in England, but I have no proof of
anything. However, we now know where he is buried (Marengo, Illinois),
and may be able to get some answers.

Again, my thanks to all Alice and Max, and all the Cousins that have
been diging around and sharing the treasures you've found. I love
reading about your success and hope to be able to share more of my own,
now that my 'Crocker' is interested.
