No, but you can use it until you find a better source :), or even then as a
supporting source. The birth dates or ages in the censuses are quite
commonly off by a few years plus or minus, but usually somewhere in the
ballpark. Family bible dates should definitely be more accurate if entered
at the time the event occurred. Thanks for passing along your source info,
that will give more credibility to the data I had entered from your note.

FWIW, the only Crocker family bible record I have any more or less direct
data from is Solomon's, as it was published in the Piedmont Gen. Soc.
journal. PLEASE , if anyone has any other Crocker family bible
records--particularly old ones--transcribe them and post to this list and
maybe to the appropriate GENWEB archive, too. Since these are not public
records, it's important to share them, like TexAnn has done, so all who may
have a connection or interest can have access. Two Crocker family bible
records that I am hoping will turn up some day are (1) William b. 1781
(son-of-Solomon) and (2) Isaac b. 1799, possibly same William's son. I
believe one of these could provide my missing link to John C. b. ~1820 Spbg.
