Alfored (Alfred) Crocker (Cracker?) was issued a certificate for 320
acres, which was approved bt the first investigating board in 1856 but
which was later disapproved. He patented 160 acres in Cooke and Collin
counties (Fannin Third Class No. 3856), which probably represents a
pre-emption certificate. It is doubtful that he was a bona fide
colonist.

I had a Alfred Crocker , son of Miles and Elizabeth Crocker but he was
abt 6 years old in 1856.
