Hello Crockers,
I have enjoyed reading all your letters and had
no idea there were so many Crockers in USA. My mother was a Crocker
but her family have lived in Torpoint across the R.Tamer from
Devonshire for some years. My earliest date is Jane Brock b.1806 who
married William Crocker May 13 1833 in Plymouth. My early
memories of Crockers go back to a small island off the coast of
Bigbury - Burgh Island , Devon where I was intrigued to find
memorabilia of Tom Crocker," the famous pirate" maybe that is why he
had to emigrate!!!!!!! :):) My uncle was a Tom Crocker and that is
why I remember it. I live in NZ now and so do some of my Crocker
cousins. Unfortunately, it appears that there is no connection yet
to any other Crockers on the Net.
