Hi! Angela...There are many ways to get around the problem you are
worrried about, BUT there is not 100% anything. You can have your identy
found, right now, today without ever being on the internet. Nothing is
safe. Your e-mail is NEVER 100% deleted.. It floats around in
cyberspace.. I know this sounds strange but it is true. Maybe not 100%
of the message is stored, but bits and pieces are. Just like you can
delete all the e-mail off your computer, and its never 100% TOTALLY gone.
The internet has a REALLY bad rap. Very true that there are people who
could listen to the things on this list, but its not just as easy as
that. The people that are doing this dont just read something and go
down to a local office and steal your identity. These are REAL TRUE
hackers, and the little old lady who lives down the street and has never
seen a computer is just as much a target as you or I are. Did you know
that there could be some one at your internet service provider, like
yours angela capecod.net that could be sitting there and viewing each
and every internet site you hit. Could read your e-mail before you do,
and if you go on chat channels they can read everything you write, as you
do. Like I said... Nothing is 100% safe. These are just things you
don't think about. About the safest thing to do is just say here is my
e-mail address i f you have info please send it to me privately. Or dont
post exact dates of birth just year, and place. And just be careful,
if someone needs more information on a person they will ask you and you
will know who to be suspicious about and who not to be. Anyhoo...
enough of aiding to the mass hysteria!
