Hello Shelby and other Crockers on the list--

After a good deal of work and correspondence, I have arrived at the same
conclusion you did -- only you got there more quickly. I've abandoned the
project of a book on the genealogy of descendants of Anthony of Isle of
Wight. I appreciate the fact that you brought the subject of copyright to
my attention some time ago... and also that Michael Crocker has been
generous in passing along his information and knowledge. And I want to
thank the many descendants who responded to my requests for information.
I'm sorry I can't proceed, but after a good deal of soul-searching and
"listening" to people more knowledgeable than I, I give it up.
