The will Of Elisha Crocker---
In the name of God,Amen,the sixth day of March,In the year of our Lord,One
thousand seven hundred and sixty one,I,Elisha Crocker of the county of
Southhampton ,Va.,being of sick and weak of body,but sound and disposing
mind and memory(thanks be to God for the same) do make and ordain this my last
will and testement in manner and form following;
Imprimis-I give and bequeth to my sister,Sarah Crocker,all my land lying on
Buckhorn Swamp in the county aforesaid which was bought of Nottoway Indians
to her and her heirs forever,but if said sister dies without an heir,I give
the sia land
to my sister Mary,to her and her heirs forever.
Item - I give and bequeath to Mary Kindred,daughter of Samuel Kindred,five
pounds
current money of Virginia.
I do constitute and appoint ny loving father,Benjamin Crocker,whole and
sole
executor of this my last will and testement.
In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this day and year first
above written
Elisha Crocker (seal)
signed,sealed.published and declared in the presence of Testator to be his
last will and testement.

at a court held for the county of Southhampton,Va , the 11th day of June 1761
this will was presented in court,proved by the oaths of Sam Barlow and Thomas
Edmunds,two of the witnesses thereto and recorded and on the motion od Sarah
Crockerwho made oaths according to law,certificate is granted her for
obtaining
letters of administration with the will of the said Elishaa annexed giving
secutity
whereupon
