Edwin Bryant Crocker 7, (Isaac 6, Levi 5, James 4, Jonathan 3, John 2,
William 1) was born in Jamesville, (town of DeWitt, Onondage Cty) N.Y., 26
Apr 1818, died Sacramento, CA 24 Jun 1875. He married 1st in Mishawaka, IN,
3 Sept 1845 Mary Norton, born Petersboro, NY, 30 Sept 1821, died So. Bend
IN, 12 April 1847, age 26 years; daughter of a Dr. Norton.
Edwin Bryant Crocker married 2d in Brooklyn, NY, 7 July 1852, Margaret
Eleanor Rhodes, daughter of John Rhodes of PA, born Akron, Stark Cty, Ohio,
25 Feb 1822, died Larchmont Park, NY, 1 Dec 1901. Edwin Bryant Crocker was a
District Attorney, counsel for the Central Pacific R.R., and Chief Justice
of the Supreme Court of Calif.
By his first wife Edwin Bryant Crocker had one child, Mary Norton Crocker,
married Sacramento CA Charles L. Scudder.
By his second wife Edwin Bryant Crocker had four children, and they adopted
two more. Kate Eugenie Crocker, Edwin Clark Crocker (died in infancy),
Nellie Margaret Crocker, Jennie Louise Crocker, (born Sacramento CA 1 May
1860, married 13 Feb 1879,Jacob Sloat Fassett, born Elmira NY, 13 November
1853, died Vancouver, B.C. Can. 21 April 1924), adopted Amy Isabel Crocker,
and adopted Elwood Bender Crocker. nephew of Margaret Eleanor (Rhodes)
Crocker.

I do not find any further information about Jennie Louise (Crocker) Fassett
or her husband.
