Andrea,

Please let me know if we've never corroborated this information with that in
Charles Henry Crocker's work. He shows that Isaac was, indeed, the son of
Isaac and references a "Bible Record" (but no specifics on the specific
Bible or family) to establish this. While this doesn't suggest absolute
proof, it'd be another confirmation to this claim. Would be happy to send
you this data.

All the best,
Ben.

Subject: [CROCKER-L] Crocker L - Brick Wall

Hi Dean:

My brick wall is one I believe I have solved but cannot prove, so will
welcome any proof. I published this in my book, A Crocker Genealogy, but
have been advised that I'm the only one who ever made this connection, and
subsequent efforts to prove it have been unsuccessful.

Isaac Crocker, born Barnstable MA 6 May 1719, married 1st Barnstable 22
March 1738/9, Elizabeth Fuller, Jr., born Barnstable 9-30-1720, daughter of
Benjamin Fuller and Rebecca Bodfish. They had the following children:

ANSEL Crocker, born Barnstable 27 August 1739, married Sandwich MA Mercy
Meiggs

REBECCA Crocker born Barnstable 24 March 1740, married Barnstable 20 March
1736, Edward Adams, born Barnstable 4-15-1736, son of Thomas Adams and
Sarah Phinney.

THOMAS Crocker, born Barnstable 19 September 1743, died 9 November 1800,
married Jane ?, who died 5 July 7 1795, and had a daughter Ruth who died,
age 21, 13 Sept. 1825.

Those are the only children of Isaac Crocker and Elizabeth Fuller on Town of
Barnstable VRs. I believe the following child is a member of this family,
too.

ISAAC, JR., born Barnstable c. 1745/6, died 19 January 1832, married 1st
Barnstable 22 October 1767 Lydia Hamblin, born 21 October 1745, died 14
January 1809, daughter of John Hamblin.

The children of Isaac Jr. and Lydia Hamblin, all born Barnstable, were:

Jerusha Hinckley Crocker born 23 Oct 1767, died 6 Nov 1824, unmarried

Jemima Crocker born @ 1770, died 23 Feb 1833, unmarried

Reuben Crocker born 6 Sept 1777, died 16 March 1860, married Mary (Polly)
Bassett, born 11 June 1780, died 11 April 1825. (Her parents unknown).

Shubael Hamblin Crocker born 1779, died 19 Jan 1846, married 20 June 1801
Abigail Crocker, born about 1784, daughter of Bursley Crocker and
Mary Pitcher.

Benjamin Fuller Crocker, born 5 September 1782, died 15 February 1865,
married 1st Temperance Hathaway, born 28 March 1786, died 8
March 1807. daughter of Benjamin Hathaway and Temperance Linnell.
They had one daughter, Temperance Hathaway Crocker
born 23 Feb 1807, died 20 March 1900, married 7 Feb 1828 Capt. James
Parker born 8 Dec 1789, died 4 March 1871, son of Capt. James
Parker and Sarah Nye.

N.B. The birth of Reuben Crocker, above, is not recorded in the Town of
Barnstable VRs, but has been determined from the records in Mass. Archives;
his death certificate names his parents as Isaac Crocker and Lydia. The
parents of his father, Isaac, husband of Lydia, is what I need to prove.

I hope someone may have a family bible or access to church records in
Barnstable that will prove that these two Isaac Crockers are father and son.
