Another brick wall. My great-grandmother, Mary Ann Crocker (Couch), born 1851, was said to have come from Ireland during the Potato Famine. We have found her living will the William and Mary (both from Ireland) McAndrew family in Jefferson Township in Iowa during the 1860 census. She was 9 years old and said to have come from Ohio (which we feel was a recording error). It is unknown if McAndrew was her uncle, a step-father or no relation. We have no other information except my grandfather (her son) said he had Crocker relatives living in Nebraska during 1940 - 50s. There was a potato chip factory in Omaha at that time know as Mrs.. Crocker's .. later "Kitty Clover"...which may be a connection. Several family members went to the Crocker area of Ireland but found the church records from the 1850s were destroyed in fire.

So that is our brick wall .. any help would be appreciated.
JJ
