I just want to say that I've been in contact with a lot of you in the past. I appreciate everything everyone has done to help me in my discoveries. First of all, it's been a long while since working on the Crowley line. I've had a lot of confusion due to the conflicts resulting in the parentage of Jeffrey...... but I'm not even going to go there. I've had alot of misleads & hope to fix them from various sources on Jeffrey's descendants. I don't wish to insult anyone by missing someone or having them in the wrong list of kids..... lol. If anyone would wish to enlighten me on their particular lines or other line's that are accurate to the best of their knowledge..... please do. I'm interested in all kinds of info!!!!
I myself come from Jeffrey & Effie through their son
Samuel & Elizabeth Strong
John & Elizabeth McClain
Samuel & Susannah McIninch
Louisa & Willis Gaines
John Wesley Gaines & Melissa Ann Kimsey
Alvis Willis Gaines & America Effie Peery
Clyde Clifford Gaines & Elizabeth Ellen Miller
Velma America Gaines & Walter Lee Brown
Kenneth Dale Brown & Barbara Joyce Miller
(me) Jennifer Rae Brown & Raymond Paul Dubal
I'm also looking into finding out where Susannah McIninch came from. Someone gave me her birthdate as being October 7, 1792 in Tennessee...... has anyone clarified that?
I live in McMinnville, OR & would go ga-ga over someone coming to my house & help me sort through the who is who..... lol. I know there are a few of you cousins not far from me. I don't have much for documents but I have search & written notes on the family in Oregon. Outside of the state I've relied on the internet & a few contacts. I have 1 picture of Samuel Crowley (1791-1873) & other pics of his descendants through son John Wesley Gaines. More than willing to share those.
I look forward to hearing from you all!!!
