To Jeff Scism and Susan Liedtke, two who know so much about DNA, how
does it work if Agnes IS Jeff's mother (and I'm not ready to believe
that, yet) and his father was Jeffrey Hopkins--how would a person find
out if Agnes was really a Crowley. I'm getting confused on even asking
the question. I assume if Hopkins was Jeff's father and getting a DNA
sample of another of Hopkins descendants (assuming there were some) (or
digging Jeff Hopkins up or probing his grave for a DNA sample) and
comparing with our Crowleys would answer the question as to whether Jeff
was a Hopkins.

But can males and females be compared as far as DNA goes? Of course,
there are no other descendants of Agnes according to the record Forest
sent--she died in childbirth with her child Jeffrey. and another point
is that any male could have impregnated Agnes. It could even have been a
Crowley male that we haven't found. Maybe Agnes just liked the name Jeffrey.

Has anyone found any Hopkins descendants from this particular Hopkins in
the UK? Or anywhere for that matter--a DNA test for that person or
persons might be a major breakthrough for us.
