Welcome to the list.

You have hit a wall on Jeffrey because there is still some debate as to his origins, wife's surname, and when exactly all his children were born. Much is known about his life and movements.

I am sorry I do not have time to recount for you all that has been discussed but did want you to know that you had not posted to a vacuum. Perhaps someone who does have the time can make a summary.

Meanwhile, I suggest you browse thru the list archives at Rootsweb and familiarize yourself with the debates and what has been posted in the past. Forest Crowley, who often posts interesting tidbits, is from Benjamin's line.

If you have specific questions, thoughts or additions after reading through the archives, I'm sure someone on list will be able to fill you in.
