Would appreciate any census (or other) data on the whereabouts of Reuben
Davis, b. Derby, CT 1743/5 in the 1790 or 1800 period. I am tracking a
Reuben Davis who was one of the forty proprietors of the Susquehanna Company
who settled the Wyoming Valley (PA) then part of Litchfield CT. Have not
been able to determine if Reuben returned to CT after (or before) the 1778
massacre in the valley or what happened to him. Early records indicate an
Evan C. Davis was born in PA in 1812. Hoping to connect these two, but
cannot establish either as being related on the minimal information
available to me so far.
