M.Greenman, the eldest of 5 children and my father Charles L.. In the early
1920's she might have been in college in NYC, I think she went to Columbia
University to get her degrees in teaching. However, I know that she worked
and lived for sometime in Conncecticut before then moving to NYC where she
lived alot of her adult life. She never married or had any children but led
a VERY FULL life, for sure.

Most of her siblings, Ralph, Grace, and Adda Lois were born in Iowa.
Charles was born in Chicago, Ill..

born in Tiskilwa, Ill. and she in Hillsdale, Michigan. He was born around
1868 and she in 1870.. Gladys died in in NY in 1892.

place I know for sure, somewhere along the way is Connecticut, before she
came to live in NYC. Really not sure, just guessing on the time frame she
might have been in CT for sure except for 1930's-40's, MAYBE earlier!!!!

I guess Gladys would have been in college and probably NYC in about 1913 or
so and then after that went to CT. and then NYC. I wish I knew the sequence
of events to be more helpful. She MAY have even gotten her Bachelors in
CT.. and later on her Masters in Columbia in NYC.
