Hi, Ladybug!
Thanks so much for responding.
I think my Roger Barrows is a 3rd cousin once removed to your Luther.
I have information supplied by a Barrows cousin, Sharon (Barrows) Sanzo, who
has traced her own line back to John Barrows, the immigrant ancestor, and then
back even further to England. Her information, as well as related lines, can
be found at the following website:
<A HREF="http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/c/a/l/Thomas-R-Calkins/index.html?Welcome=1016082368">Tom Calkins's FTM Home Page (includes Barrows)</A>
According to that Barrows information, there is a Luther listed as having
been born on December 31, 1815. His line going back would be
Luther > Elijah > Elijah > Thomas Jr. > Thomas > Robert > John > Ralf > Hughe.
My Roger's line going back is
Roger > Isaac > Jabez > Robert Jr. > Robert > John > Ralf > Hughe.
If you have any questions or new information to be added to what is posted at
Tom Calkins's website, I'm sure he would appreciate hearing from you. He can
be reached by e-mail at . Sharon (Barrows) Sanzo can be
reached at .
Hope this helps.
Mary Ann (Calkins) O'Brien
