Rod,
I have sent a few images to you that should help. I agree, having the
census image is that much more interesting than just a transcription for a
number of reasons. For example, in some cases, transcribers mis-interpret
handwritten census pages. One of the pages I have sent you was indexed
under Wilbur Weed. When I look at the page, however, it appears "possible"
that, in fact, the last name is "Noud". See for yourself with the images I
sent.
