BRACKETT....is a Welsh name spelled Brockett
1. Anthony, as early as 1623 was at the mouth of the Piscataqua River, came
to Portsmouth,New Hampshire before 1640
2. Peter, freeman, Braintree,Massachusetts 1643; removed to Scarborough
[now spelled Scarboro] Maine,1674/4
3. Capt Richard, brother of Peter, born 1612, was at Boston 1632, removed
1639 to what is now Qunicy,Mass.
4. William, one of the Mason employees, was at Portsmouth,NH,1624.
[John Mason was a grantee of Portsmouth,NH...perhaps someone would
have more information on him]
