Of course there are burying grounds in Goshen....
but what you need to know is:

1.Narragansett # 4 West
.....(Narragansett townships were given to soldiers(around 1730's)
who fought the Indian Wars, especially King Philip's, 1674-77.
2.Gore Plantation..have no information on this
3.Prior to 1781, it was part of Chesterfield called "hesterfield Gore"
4.1781 incorporated as a town
5.1785 part of Conway annexes
6.1789 part annexed to Chesterfield
7.1795 bounds between Goshen, Chesterfield,and Williamsburg established
(bounds established 2 more times, 1797 and 1810)

souce: Historical Data Relating to Counties,Cities and Towns in Mass.;
Sec. of Commonwealth, NEGHS, 1997
----------
When looking for your ancestor(s) be sure to check out the other
towns as well IF you dont find whom you are seeking in Goshen.
