(1613-1672) by his first wife; their children: Mary, Gideon, Thomas
and Nathan. Jacobus: (___) Keeler was not mentioned in her father's
will and applied to the court for redress; the court ordered a share
paid to her. Also in Wesley Keeler: Keeler Family p. 4. Places her
third in birth order. Born before 1650 in Hartford; married Thomas
Morehouse, son of Thomas Morehouse.
Thomas2 married (2) Martha Hobby, by whom he had Lemuel b. 1
Nov 1696

Notes on Thomas1 Morehouse:
- Jacobus: Families of Old Fairfield 1:418-419 Deputy from
Fairfield to CT Legislature 1653 Settled early in Wethersfield,
next to Thomas Sherwood, with whom he removed to Stamford in 1640/1.
He last settled in Fairfield, where in 1653 he purchased Henry
Jackson's tide mill. Will dated Aug 1658: wife Isabel; 'if wife is
with child'; eldest dau. Hannah; son Samuel (Exec'r) received double
portion; sons Thomas, John, Jonathan; dau. Mary; 'my mill and mill
lot'. Inv. Oct 1658.
-- Hicks: Descendants of Andrew Patterson p. 150 An early settler
in Wethersfield; moved to Stamford 1640/1641. In 1653 he purchased
a tide mill in Fairfield. He was a Deputy to CT Legislature Sep
1653. Will dated 4 Aug 1658; inventory Oct 1658. Married Isabel
(____).

I am also descended from Samuel Morehouse/Rebecca Odell, through
their son John who married Ruth Barlow.
