Hi,
I've got a David TURNEY who came to Cramahe twp, Northumberland County, Ontario, Canada in 1793 as part of 40 families who came with Joseph KEELER to settle the area.
David and wife had sons David Jr b: 1776 US and Samuel b: 1787 US. Then in Canada had 2 more sons - Aaron b: 1795 and Stephen b: 1800. I am in the line off David Jr.
I think David Sr. may be the David TURNEY who married Sarah GOULD/GOLD in CT. But only based on family names and that the David in CT had a relative in common with Joseph KEELER and Sarah GOULD/GOLD also was related to Nathan and Issac GOULD who also came with Joseph KEELER..
David Jr married abt 1797. He and wife Hannah had sons named John, Samuel, David, Asa, Andrew and Levi and possibly a Daniel. Also 3 daughters. The children were born between 1800 and 1826.
Does anybody have anything on a David TURNEY that indicates he went to Canada?
Any help would be much appreciated.
