Joyce, I do not know if you have seen my postings or not. We are looking for a Sheldon line that shows up in Delaware County, NY by mid 1800s. Earliest proven is Henry G Sheldon, born 7/10/1839, though we do not know where. There is an Elisha Sheldon in Delaware Cty by late 1790s. Do you know if he is related to your line, and/or any more about him?
