Thirty Mile Island Cemetery is located across from the town sign in
Haddam, the one that lists the founders. It is, if I remember right,
diagonally across the road from the Thankful Arnold House. I hope I'm
not mixing things up. Some of the markers in the burial yard are very
clear and well maintained; however, over the years, much has gone to
ruin.

Jane Devlin has this cemetery on her website, under the listing of Old
Cemetery, Haddam. I did a quick check and saw no Gates there.
