Would love to have it for the site.. (also any other Middlesex Co.
wills, deeds or gravestone photos that might be floating around among
our list members)..

Very good <g>... I could only test my "umbical" line - mother,
grandmother , great-grandmother, etc.. I think I may have traced the
latter's family back to Yorkshire, England, West Riding, but the
British seem to have kept fewer records in the 1800s than New
Englanders did in the 1600s. Such fun..

My mtDNA is Swedish, or maybe (if it is p0ssible to determine) Geatish (SW Sweden was Geatland). (Gothenburg is "fortress of the Geats," not Goths.)

I have a paternal line from Yorkshire via Nova Scotia.

Girls get an X chromosome from their father, who got it from his mother -- I wonder if it is possible to figure out which X chromosome (of the pair) and test it.

In the meantime, I keep
adding more files to the website thanks to help from Coralynn Brown,
Dave Swerdferger, Janece Streig and others. I think the last
spidering of the site had something over 3300 files - it's certainly
grown since it started back in January 2001 and we're approaching
1.75 MILLION visitors!

Outstanding!
